Happy Birthday

This year, two legends celebrated two great anniversaries together: In Le Mans the motorsport world bowed to 75 years of Porsche and celebrated the 100th anniversary of the world's most famous race track with a spectacular number of 235,000 motor sport enthusiasts flocked to the grounds of the legendary race track on the Sarthe from Friday onwards for a big jubilee party.

Porsche France and the Federation of French Porsche Clubs celebrated the two anniversaries with around 1,000 Porsche gathered on the grounds of the Federation. 1,660 Club members had registered – including 200 Club members from all around the the world.

“Le Mans is not only part of the Porsche DNA, it is home to the Porsche Club community,” explains Dominique Debords, President of the French Federation of Porsche Clubs. “There is no better place to bring the Porsche family together and to celebrate two outstanding legends.”

Furthermore the 2023 Le Mans Anniversary edition brought another two legends together: two Porsche 910, that contested the 1967 Sebring 12 Hours side by side. The current owners, Porsche Club members Dave Hagan and Jürgen Rudolph have reunited them after 56 years for the worldwide Porsche community and have raced them at Le Mans.
