Living the community

Meeting people who share the same passion – that is what shapes the global Porsche Club community.

At DRT X, the 10th edition of "Das Renntreffen" in Miami, around 1,400 Porsche owners and countless fans of the brand met in an (almost) abandoned shopping mall. Club members Alex Llorente from the PCA Region First Settlers and Christian Hartinger from the Porsche Club Deutschland and organiser of the CarreraTreff Leipzig invited the international Club Presidents and Porsche Club members to a get-to-know-you lunch.

19 representatives of Porsche Clubs from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Brazil and Puerto Rico not only exchanged contact details and gifts, but also made new friends. Tobias Eninger, CEO of Porsche Latin America, and Victoria Sehterman, responsible for Porsche Exclusive and Sonderwunsch, suddenly found themselves in the Club crowd, providing even more topics of conversation and passion.

"What will come of it? Only time will tell," says Christian Hartinger from the CarreraTreff Leipzig, who is currently touring the USA with his wife Ortrun in their two GT3 twins. "But a Porsche community has very clear ideas. You get to know each other, get along and stay in touch.“ The first visit to Stuttgart and Leipzig is currently being planned. Guatemala is already on the agenda for Ortrun and Christian.

You just have to live your passion for Porsche. Preferably on the roads of the world and in your own car. "Next opportunity: Air/Water in California. Who's in?" asks Hartinger.
